“Vogue Opera” is a music and dance project conceived by Blog House club veterans Purple Crush, who in recent years re-emerged in the Ballroom community with their vogue and runway event Banjee Ball (”Banjee Ball… keeping the tradition alive”  – LA Times).

The “Vogue Opera” took a year to make, collecting recordings of iconic members of the West Coast Ballroom community, including Legendary Kevin JZ Prodigy, the most known voice of vogue music.  It was in his hotel room following the annual Las Vegas Sin City Ball (where Isla took home Grand Prize) that Purple Crush recorded the makings of “Chopped”.  Also featured on the EP is West Coast commentator Legendary Enyce Ebony, who this year released his first single “Call Me Crazy”, produced by Purple Crush, on Crushed Records.   Vogue Opera also features Miss Barbie Q, Shay Ebony, Ja Ja Rodeo, and Kage Prodigy.
